CANCELATION AND
REFUNDS POLICY

1. BASIS OF CANCELATIONS AND REFUNDS POLICY

Tikitup reserves the right to cancel or modify the date of any activity if there is insufficient capacity for its realization or if there are circumstances beyond their control, communicating it at least 3 working days before the initial date of celebration in the case of trips and 24 hours in the case of events. In the event that the meeting is cancelled or that the modification of the date makes it impossible for the registered participants to attend, Tikitup will proceed exclusively to the management of the refund of the registration fees, without having to pay other expenses or additional amounts in which the registered participants may have incurred.

The administrators of each city also have the right to cancel or modify an activity as long as it has been organized by them in case there is not enough capacity for its realization or in case there are circumstances beyond their control, communicating it at least 3 working days before the initial date of celebration in case of trips and 24h in case of events. In the event that the meeting is cancelled or that the modification of the date implies the impossibility of attendance of the registered participants, we will proceed exclusively to the management of the refund of the registration fees, without having to pay other expenses or additional amounts in which the registered participants may have incurred.

2. TRAVELS

Refunds will be made through the contact email of the city administrator who organized the activity. You can find it in the purchased ticket by clicking on “more information” or in the Contact and refunds section located in your Profile. In the email indicate in the subject: CANCELLATION / RETURN Name and surname. In the mail you must provide the following information:

Therefore, in this Privacy and Data Protection Policy, users of the TIKITUP application are informed of all the details of interest regarding how these processes are carried out, for what purposes, which other entities may have access to their data and what are the rights of users:

  • Name and Surname.

  • Which trip it is.

  • Amount paid and Date of purchase.

  • Payment method (Office/ Paypal/…..).

  • Reason for cancellation.

The following policy will be applied:

2.1. 1-Day trips

The full amount will be refunded within 15 working days, except for the costs derived from handling fees.

No refund within 15 working days:

  • If the bus is empty (NO REFUND).

  • If the bus is full, the ticket can be exchanged under the following conditions:

    • The owner of the ticket (purchaser) has to write by mail the following:

      • Name + Surname + Whatsapp (of the purchaser).

      • Name + Surname + Whatsapp (of the New purchaser).

2.1. 2-Days trips

If canceled before 15 business days, the entire amount will be refunded except for the reservation fee and costs associated with administrative expenses.

No refund will be issued within 15 business days.

  • If the bus is empty (NO REFUND).

  • If the bus is full:

    • You will have the option to receive a refund in Happy Erasmus currency only for other trips, provided that the ticket has been sold (For more information, please contact the city administrator where the activity was organized). Costs associated with administrative expenses are not included in this refund.

2.1. 3 or more days day trips

Before 15 working days you only have paid the reservation. The reservation is not refunded, except for the costs derived from the management fees.

If you have paid for the entire trip:

  • Option 1: The reservation (1st payment) is not refundable, but the remaining amount is refundable except for the costs derived from the management fees.

  • Option 2: All money is refunded in Happy Erasmus Coin (For more information contact the administrator of the city where the activity was organized)

Within 15 working days *In this case you can only have the full amount paid if the ticket has not already been cancelled and nothing has been refunded.

Provided we find a new buyer:

  • Option 1: The reservation (1st payment) is non-refundable and the remaining amount is refundable.

  • Option 2: All money is refunded in Happy Erasmus Coin (For more information contact the administrator of the city where the activity has been organized) The costs derived from the administration fees are not included in this refund.

* In the event that the activity has a different cancellation policy, the cancellation policy indicated on the activity sheet will apply.

FOR THE REST OF THE EVENTS

If the registered person is unable to participate in the event and prior notice of at least 2 working days before the date of the event, he/she may be replaced free of charge by another person providing full details of the same as long as the substitute person meets the requirements set out in the ticket. Such change must be notified by mail or any other means to the city manager of the city that has organized the event.

* The costs derived from handling fees will not be included in this refund.

* In the event that the activity has a different cancellation policy, the cancellation policy indicated on the activity sheet will apply.
